Kinda doing this more for myself but also so people know.

This list will not include characters that are just getting an updated appearance. This is characters going through a MAJOR overhaul entirely. Look, Personality, Story, etc.

list in no specific order

So awhile ago I posted a slight bit of world building and I want to post a tiny TINY bit more.

Mostly who leads what.

So each I guess some the classes or species(? no clue which to call it??) have a designated leader.

Leader of the Witches: The Mother Queens. While technically ALL lead the witches its an unwritten rule that Lady Iris (Female She/Her) is at the top.

Leader of the Fae: The High Grand Fae, Phylis (Female She/Her). Lower Grand Fae can lead under her and work as advisers and a council. Think of it like Phylis is president and the lower Grands are other branches of the system. (I don’t know how else to say it so not exact but its like a division of power but Phylis is at the top)

Leader of the Fairies: Great Fairy Cicada (Genderless They/Them). Cicada is in complete power and all fairies look to them as basically a god. Its unknown how old Cicada is but they are even older than Lady Iris and most suspect they are at least 350 years old, if not far older.

Leader of the Dragons: King Throx (Male He/Him), The Eldest Dragon. Not the dragon fae, actual dragons. There are TWO types of dragons, advanced dragons who basically have like human levels of sentience and intelligence and primative dragons, which are more like animals (not the best description but its a basic understanding). Both types see Throx as their leader.

Leader of The Dragon Fae: Baiqingtong Taiyang (Female uses any pronouns though doesn’t really care but most address her with feminine titles and She/Her). She is the ruler of the Dragon Fae, who are humanoidish dragon creatures. They come in many shapes and sizes but all see Baiqingtong as their leader and respect her word as absolute law.

Leader of the Sirens: The High Birther, Zuu (Sirens are genderless, but most present as female and use female pronouns. Not all but most. Zuu presents as genderless using They / Them). Sirens are lead by a royal family known as the High Birthers. Sirens work a bit like bees, having a central “hive” and the High Birther acts as a sort of queen bee. While not all are direct children of High Birthers, it is known that in some way all Sirens are connected to the current crowned High Birther, but its not known how as even Siren’s can’t seem to explain their connection. Its seems to be psychic in nature and built into Siren DNA. Zuu is the current crowned High Birther and they are known to be very VERY old. Zee stands at 300 years old and is currently training their successor, a Lower Birther, Azuro (uses He / Him a rarity in Sirens admittedly). Basically if a High Birther is compared to a queen/king Lower Birther’s are like princes/princess. Direct Children of the High Birther and one is selected to take over. Lower Birther’s that are not chosen work as a sort of council and help the High Birther rule.

Leader of the Sea Beings: Tsuru Wakumi (female uses She/Her). Sea Beings are just that any creature that lives directly in the water. Mermaids, Fish People, Sea Titans, and so on. Tsuru is a calm and gentle woman known as the empress of the sea. Her calm and gentle ways make her ruling more like a mother with her children than a ruler. Its not a surprise as most sea beings are in fact very gentle and kind beings. There are exceptions as with anything.

Leader of the Angels, Demons, and Spirits: Cosmos (genderless, can change body at will, commonly uses They/Them). Despite being called “demons” not all “demons” are evil. Just as not all “angels” are good. Its just a classification at this point and should not affect how people view their personality. Cosmos rules much like how the High Birther rules the Sirens, by some kind of telepathic hive mind. Though they seem more “lazy” and allow their people to do mostly as they please as long as they follow the agreed upon rules of the land. Other classes that fall under this leader are vampires, ghosts, zombies, and general living dead / undead / resurrected. Cosmos is known to have the most followers outside of the general populace following the High Goddess.

The leaders while leading their respectful classes, do have an agreed set of laws of the lands. While in some places rules may be slightly different all classes, species, and being agree on a small set list of rules which seems to boil down to “Do not cause harm to your fellow beings”. So no murder, no abuse of any kind, no senseless destruction of the lands, and such. Just like anywhere laws can be broken and those who do are often punished by their respected leaders. The general populace outside of these classes do mostly follow the High Goddess as their leader. The High Goddess also rules over all the leaders, but she mostly keeps a distance unless she is needed, allowing the leaders to do as they see fit with their people.

There are some kingdoms outside of the ones listed but they more rule a territory not a set of beings. Usually beings follow both sets of rules and leaders.

Some of the Kingdoms are:

Kingdom Fass: Ruled by Queen Mila Crystal (female She/Her)

The Moon Kingdom: Ruled by the Star Prince (male He/They)

Heidrun Peak: Ruled by Ada Leroux (female, She/Her) (but Hayden Leroux (transmale, He/Him) is the face Ada rules in the shadows)

The only beings not ruled by ANYONE are Godlikes which tend mostly to keep to themselves.

Some Godlikes are:

Sterling the Star Swimmer (female, She/Her)

Zathei of Valor and Perseverance (female, She/Her)

Hyperion (genderless, changes gender at will, They/Them)

Infinite (female, She/They)

Kahnivore the God of Sex, Drugs, and Violence (intersex, She/Her) and her two partners Rem (intersex, She/They) and Baleficent (intersex, He/Him)

Mujigae the Rainbow Goddess (and her son Tobias (male He/Him)

Lord Ira (male, He/Him)

Cindy “Mama Jelly” Aria (female, She/Her)

Willow The Forest God (female, She/They)

is it still considered a self insert if its your own universe?

because like... I may be working on one then lmao.

also I'm expanding out my world from just the one town to an entire realm.

I have a few places mapped out.

Heidrun Peak, Iron City, The Bova Farm, River Wolf Ranch, The Fae Lands (and the sub areas in the fae lands) The Dragon Mountains, Cicada Forest, the Swamp Lands, and a fountain shrine dedicated the High Goddess where powerful beings go to be "crowned" as basically gods.

Those beings would be Grand Fae, Great Fairies, Dragon Lords, and powerful Witches called Mother Queens (regardless of gender)

I'm slowly filling my world and building it out.

On the note of the Mother Queens I actually have a few.

• Lady Iris, a quiet motherly woman with 5 children (4 daughters and 1 son). Her specialty is general magic and she's known as the oldest and most powerful. Living in the Star's Palace center of Iron City she's known as the head of the Mother Queens and leads the school that trains potential future Mother Queens. Her familiar is a large black panther named Blossom.

• Mida Lan, known to be the second ever Mother Queen behind Lady Iris. Her specialty is her psychic abilities and her ability to manipulate people's emotions at her will. While she mostly uses her abilities to preform shows and throw the most joyful of fun parties, she does use her future premonitions to keep watch for potential future danger to the realm. She's nomadic and often hard to locate unless she wants to be found. Her familiar is a large red and gold snake named Timothy.

• Hanako Ippin, a mysterious witch of unknown origins but not long after her arrival she was crowned. Her magic is known to be just as mysterious as her with a strange combination of plant, ice, and earth magic leading her to be known for her ice cold solid crystal flowers. She's known to be able to match soulmates to each other. Her flowers are said to have very bizarre powers and attributes from healing to poisons. Her past is unknown but whatever happened has left her solemn and somber but still deeply kind and understanding. Living deep in Cicada Forest in her small cottage but massive garden. Her familiar is a pink and cream colored fox named Luka.

• Miss Gracie, A stern and serious young woman. Orphaned by a tragic fire, Gracie dedicated herself to her craft and mastery of fire magic and shadow magic. After many years of practice and training Gracie was crowned. She holds her position in high regards and takes her duties very seriously. Known to be trained by Lady Iris herself, Gracie is often found and her side often seen mostly doing paperwork and financial planning for the academy and other coven's expenses. Gracie is known to be the most logical and mathematically intelligent of the Mother Queens but seems to lack social etiquette and emotional understanding, often seen as cold, distant, rude, and even a bit hateful. Her familiar is a small orange toad named Toto, he's often in her suit jacket pocket and she's known to talk to him in a very baby voice.

• Jax Songbird, The newest and youngest of the Mother Queens. At only 16 Jax is the youngest to ever be crowned for any title by the High Goddess. Her abilities caught the eyes of Lady Iris when Jax was only 5 years old. Trained by Lady Iris herself, Jax's specialty seems to be plant and wind magic which seems heavily tied to her voice. Her songs are compared to siren songs often leaving people feeling the emotion she herself feels. Jax is often accompanied by her familiar, a large peacock by the name of Gales. Jax is the least experienced of the Mother Queens and doesn't seem to have a set position.

I'm sorry to say, but please avoid using any religious symbols (like you are totally free to make an angel or demon I just mean avoid like crosses, Star of David, pentagrams, etc.)
